You will be responsible for helping to building a strong, highly digitised compliance team and there may also be future opportunities to become involved in the other areas of our business, such as our Finance Director services and our online video resource – Brooks Business Hub.
We are offering a competitive starting salary for the right candidate and the main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing the compliance team, to provide exceptional services to our expanding client base
- Carrying out tasks for a portfolio of Limited Company and LLP clients, including bookkeeping, VAT returns and management and annual accounts
- Ensuring all monthly, quarterly and year end deliverables are met
- Managing performance, setting goals and on going training of team members
- Performing ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
To be successful in this Senior Accountant/Manager role you will have the following:
- Fully qualified AAT
- At least 5 years post qualification experience in a practice environment
- Experience managing and leading a team
- Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Experience in the use of cloud accounting solutions
- The desire to continue learning on the job to become an integral part of the business
